Nerine is a main character in the Shuffle series and the only daughter of Forbesii, the King of the Devils, and his wife Sage. She is also the cousin of Lisianthus, often called Sia. Nerine comes to the Human World after her childhood memories of Rin Tsuchimi draw her back to him, and she enrolls at Verbena Academy, where she is placed in the same homeroom as Rin.
