Misao Nanjo is a student at Momotsuki High School, assigned to class 1-D. She is an energetic girl whose defining trait is her deep love for animals. She regularly brings her pets to school, and her collection is extensive, including exotic creatures such as snakes and alligators. A distinctive quirk is her habit of giving her pets bland names that are simple wordplays on the animal’s natural name. Her pets often escape or go missing, and she frequently enlists the help of her classmate Tsurugi Inugami to track them down.
