Lt. Commander Mary is a female officer in Galaxy Angel X and the creator and commanding officer of the Twin Star Troupe, also known as the Twin Stars. She commands the Perot brothers, Malibu and Kokomo, as their direct superior. Mary is a serious, strict, and highly competitive commander who takes her work very seriously. She regards the Angel Troupe and its leader, Volcott O. Huey, as rivals and is determined to see her own team succeed. She is willing to employ cunning tactics and, on at least one occasion, outright sabotage to give the Twin Star Troupe an advantage. Her motivations are rooted in professional pride and a desire to prove the superiority of her unit. She interacts primarily with the Angel Troupe as an antagonist, and her relationship with Volcott is marked by rivalry. She does not undergo significant personal growth over the course of the series, remaining a consistently driven and occasionally underhanded officer. Her notable abilities include command, strategic planning, and a willingness to bend rules to achieve victory.
