Description
Ken Andoh serves as the protagonist of the 1999 anime. He is a young man living in a devastated version of Tokyo in the year 2040, a city left in ruins by pollution and a series of catastrophic earthquakes. Seeking purpose and a way to contribute to the restoration of his home, Ken becomes a new recruit of an organization known as the Divine Crusaders (DC), which was originally founded for environmental cleanup and reconstruction.
Ken is characterized by a headstrong and impulsive nature. He wears his heart on his sleeve, often letting his emotions guide his actions rather than careful calculation.
