TV-Series
Description
Kyōko Kuroyuri, alias Steel Princess, is a high-ranking executive in the secret society Gekko. She attends Kokutei High School under Gekko orders alongside other Princess Series members, commanding the student council as president. In her civilian identity, she appears as a reserved student with long black hair, grey eyes, and distinctive glasses. Her Steel Princess persona dons a light purple and grey robe, headgear featuring dark yellow Seamon motifs with the Gekko emblem, and a dark grey mask. A notable physical trait is her prominently developed bust, exceeding that of Reaper Princess and Beast Princess.
Characterized by an easygoing, non-competitive, quiet, and mysterious demeanor, her story unfolds through relationships and confrontations. She confides romantic interest to Kiki Majima (Beast Princess), overheard by Desumi Magahara (Reaper Princess), who offers help. Struggling with self-perceived lack of feminine appeal, Steel Princess attempts transformations orchestrated by Reaper Princess; these failures diminish her confidence and lead to self-imposed isolation. After Reaper Princess reassures her that acceptance matters more than change, she reconciles and gains the courage to confess her feelings to Gekko's bear-like kaiju commander, Culverin Bear. This sparks a romantic relationship.
Their partnership evolves into effective battle coordination against foes like the Gelato 5. During the Kokutei Festival, she attends with Culverin Bear in a bear costume, deliberately provoking Beast Princess about her single status. A temporary separation occurs when she mistakes an unrelated bear cosplayer for Culverin Bear, though they reunite quickly. Their relationship faces peril during the Ultimate Phantom crisis, an artificial Gekko monster that consumes Culverin Bear, triggering Steel Princess's distress and retaliatory attack. The Phantom then consumes her too, using her steel-binding powers against Beast Princess. Both are freed after Red Gelato and Reaper Princess defeat the Ultimate Phantom.
Her narrative includes participation in Reaper Princess's Princess Series sleepover and continued combat collaboration with Culverin Bear post-confession. Her name "Kuroyuri" means "black lily," and "Kyōko" incorporates characters for "villain," "disaster," or "misfortune" combined with "child."
