Movie
Description
Kihel Heim is the eldest daughter of the wealthy Heim family, which owns substantial mining interests in the Inglessa territory on Earth. Despite being an heiress, she chooses not to attend university, believing that more can be learned through real-world experience than through formal education. She is a tall young woman with platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, and her physical appearance is strikingly identical to that of Dianna Soreil, the queen of the Moonrace.
Kihel possesses a sharp intellect and a highly perceptive nature, which is evident when she quickly attaches herself to Guin Sard Lineford during the first attack by the Dianna Counter. She leverages the chaos of the initial conflict to become his assistant, a strategic move that places her at the center of political events and brings her to the attention of the Moonrace leaders. This decision reflects her energy and drive; she is noted to have much more vitality than Queen Dianna and does not share the Queen’s deep longing for an ordinary, quiet life. While she projects confidence and capability, she is also adept at masking a deep-seated insecurity, constantly concerned with whether she can truly live up to the standard set by Dianna.
The central pivot of Kihel’s life is her chance meeting with Queen Dianna Soreil. Realizing their identical appearance, the two women agree to switch places as a prank. However, circumstances soon spiral beyond their control, trapping Kihel in the role of the Moonrace queen for an extended period. In this capacity, she is forced to impersonate Dianna and lead the Dianna Counter, navigating the treacherous politics of a looming war. She proves to be a remarkably effective leader; during a tense diplomatic crisis, she delivers a powerful peace speech that articulates the feelings of Dianna's own heart better than the queen herself could have done. This speech, which rescinds aggressive claims on Earth territory, causes her loyal bodyguard Harry Ord to suspect her true identity, though he ultimately keeps her secret.
Kihel's relationships are deeply intertwined with her role as a double. She shares an almost symbiotic bond with Dianna Soreil. Their ideals are so aligned that they consider themselves as a single person sharing two bodies, and they continue to switch names and roles several times throughout the conflict. Her relationship with Harry Ord is another key facet of her development. Although Kihel is fully aware that Harry is using her as a decoy to draw threats and assassins away from the true Queen Dianna, she cannot help but fall in love with him. This unspoken understanding and mutual respect form a strong bond between them.
Throughout the series, Kihel demonstrates notable abilities beyond political acumen. She is an excellent cook, with a particular specialty in making wine pickled chestnuts. She is also shown to be a calming and decisive influence, capable of preventing the Moonrace military from committing irreversible acts during moments of crisis. At the conclusion of the conflict, Kihel makes the definitive choice to permanently switch places with Dianna. She takes on the queen’s identity for the rest of her life, ruling over the Moonrace with Harry Ord at her side, while Dianna remains on Earth to live the simple life she always desired.
