Kurika Kurinohana, also referred to as Kurika Kurinohara or Clicker, is a small robot assistant created by Dr. Marronflower. During combat she physically interfaces with the doctor's mechanical inventions and acts as their operating system, allowing them to function as intended. Outside of battle she can transform into the appearance of a young human woman, in which form she poses as Kurisaburo Kurinohara's granddaughter and goes by the name Kurika. Her human form requires daily winding with a key; if this is neglected, she remains inert.

Kurika possesses a warm, motherly, and nurturing personality. She takes genuine pleasure in looking after the other tenants of the apartment building, approaching their needs with a gentle and attentive manner. While she is unquestionably loyal to Dr. Marronflower and dutifully serves him, she is not a mindless follower. She retains her own free will and is willing to defy him when she determines that doing so is in his best interest, even if he does not immediately appreciate her actions.

Her motivations revolve around supporting Dr. Marronflower and safeguarding his well-being, both in his work and in everyday life. This sense of care extends beyond her creator to the broader community of residents, whom she treats with a protective, almost familial affection. Within the story she operates on two fronts: as a technical support unit during field engagements and as a domestic caretaker in the shared living space, seamlessly bridging the chaotic hero-testing activities and the ordinary apartment routine.

Kurika's central relationship is with Dr. Marronflower, the inventor who built her and depends on her assistance. She also upholds her cover identity as the granddaughter of Kurisaburo, the doctor's civilian persona, which allows her to interact socially without revealing her robotic nature. Her relationships with the other apartment residents are defined by her caregiving role, and she often becomes a kind of surrogate mother figure for the building's eccentric inhabitants.

Over the course of the narrative she undergoes moderate development, learning to balance ingrained obedience with her own judgment and occasionally stepping beyond a subservient role to act as a voice of reason for the doctor. Her most notable abilities include the capacity to transform between a compact robot body and a human-like appearance, direct mechanical linkage that turns her into a control system for larger machines, and a resilient, caring disposition that helps maintain stability among the cast.
