Description
Giga is a significant antagonist who serves as the emperor of Cyber City, a powerful district within the Maruhage Empire. He is a large, muscular man with spiked purple hair and red eyes. His armor has a strange, abstract design with green rings hanging around his arms, visually reflecting his obsession with art.

His personality is marked by extreme cruelty and arrogance. Giga revels in tormenting the inhabitants of his domain and toying with his opponents before defeating them. His sole passion is building his personal art collection, which he populates by using his unique powers to turn captured fist masters into abstract sculptures. So great is his obsession that the kidnapping and transformation of the character Heppokomaru becomes the direct catalyst for a personal conflict with Bo-bobo.

Within the story, Giga is the primary obstacle of the Cyber City arc. He rules from a high tower, preferring to oversee his territory while his six powerful subordinates, known as the Six Electric Brain Warriors, handle intruders. He is constantly attended by two women who are infatuated with him. Giga holds a position of immense power, allegedly equal to that of the Maruhage Empire's leader, Tsuru Tsurulina IV.

The conflict with Giga is a major narrative focus, leading to a prolonged battle against Bo-bobo and his allies. During their fight, Giga proves to be a formidable opponent, initially overwhelming the heroes. He demonstrates an ability to predict movements and can even create a special dimension where he is invincible against conventional attacks. However, after a difficult battle, Bo-bobo discovers that Giga's power is vulnerable to heartfelt, non-abstract art, leading to his defeat.

Following his defeat, Giga's role in the story changes. He becomes a recurring character who appears in later arcs, such as the Maruhage New Emperor Playoffs. In these later appearances, his status is notably diminished. No longer a terrifying final boss, he is often easily defeated, used as a sacrifice by other villains, or otherwise subjected to humiliating treatment. He returns to rule Cyber City after these events, though presumably with less cruelty. In the sequel series Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, his territory is invaded, and he is subsequently captured and imprisoned, further highlighting his reduced standing.

Giga's primary ability is the Objet Shinken, or Fist of Objet d'Art. This power allows him to create artistic pieces and living creatures to attack his enemies. Its most notable feature is its ability to transform other fist masters into art objects. These transformed victims serve as both trophies for his collection and an energy source for Giga. By absorbing the power from these art pieces, he can transform into Super Giga, a more powerful form with longer hair and stronger armor. In this state, his attacks are vastly stronger, and he can enter a special dimension where he embodies art itself. In this dimension, he is intangible unless attacked by an artistic concept that surpasses his own.
