Description
Nudillos, known in English as Knuckles the Echidna, is an anthropomorphic red echidna who appears as a main character in the anime Sonic X. He originates from a parallel zone where his primary duty is to serve as the guardian of the Master Emerald, a powerful ancient gem that controls the Chaos Emeralds. Following a Chaos Control event that transports him and several other characters to the human world, Nudillos becomes focused on locating the Chaos Emeralds so that he can return to his role as protector of the Master Emerald.
Nudillos is depicted as a wild and tough individual with a stubborn nature and difficulty adapting to new situations. He is reserved and often keeps to himself, preferring to follow his own path rather than join others. This independent streak sometimes causes him to involve himself in matters uninvited or to be deceived by others, particularly Dr. Eggman, who frequently exploits his gullibility. Despite his cool and determined demeanor in battle, Nudillos has a short temper that can lead to conflicts, and he is notably shy around girls. His inexperience with people outside his isolated life on Angel Island leaves him both honest and naive.
