Alexis Quiroz is a Chilean actor and voice director, born on April 23, 1947, recognized for his extensive work in dubbing for Spanish-language versions of animated series and live-action productions. He is notably the voice of the character Abuelo Kitty in the Chilean Spanish dubbing of the series Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater, known in Latin America as El teatro mágico de Hello Kitty. His career encompasses a wide range of roles in animation, video games, and television series dubbed in Chile.

Quiroz's early career was rooted in theater and radio in his native Valparaíso, where he was part of prominent theater companies and participated in various radio dramas. He also appeared in Chilean television programs, including Sábados gigantes and the telenovela Amelia. In 1989, he founded Artycom, recognized as the first dubbing school in Chile, which he established alongside his daughter, Yaninna Quiroz.

His voice work in anime and animated series is extensive. In anime, he is known for providing the voice of Nudillos, the Spanish name for Knuckles the Echidna, in Sonic X. He also voiced Starscream in the first two seasons of Transformers: Animated, as well as other characters in the series like Scrapper. His other anime credits include Brocken Jr. in Kinnikuman, Canaletto in Ōban Star-Racers, and Miguel in Zoids Fuzors.

Beyond anime, Quiroz has voiced numerous characters in Western animation dubbed into Spanish. Among his notable roles are Monk Gyatso in Avatar: The Legend of Aang, the second voice of Orson in Garfield and Friends, and Abuelo Luong Lao Shi in Jake Long: American Dragon. He also lent his voice to the titular character in Kenny the Shark and played roles in series such as The Replacements, Ricky Sprocket, and Yin Yang Yo!.

In addition to his animation work, Quiroz has an extensive career dubbing live-action film and television. He is widely recognized as the voice of the villain Robbie Rotten in the Chilean dubbing of the children's series Lazy Town. His other significant live-action dubbing roles include Richard Woolsey in the Stargate television series (Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Universe), Gordy in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and various characters in films such as John Wick, Escape Plan, and the Stargate movies. He also provided the voice for the character Garganta de Lata in the Chilean dubbing of the animated film Condorito: La Película.

Throughout his career, Quiroz has been recognized for his contributions to media and society, receiving attention in 2005 from the Chilean program Contacto for his work with inmates at Colina prisons. In 2008, he ran as a candidate for municipal councilor in the Colina commune.
