Description
Hugi Zerabaia is the primary antagonist of Gravion Zwei, presented as a figure whose tragic past and technological genius have been twisted into a desire for universal destruction. He is the mastermind behind the Gerabaia, the monstrous mechanical weapons that threaten Earth.

His background is intrinsically linked to the distant worlds of Serias and Ramvius. As a brilliant scientist, Zerabaia was the creator of the Genocidron System, a powerful energy technology intended to be the ultimate weapon. However, a catastrophic error during an experiment caused the system to go berserk, leading to the complete annihilation of both planets. This event is the source of his deep-seated hatred and despair, which ultimately corrupts his purpose.

In terms of personality, Zerabaia is driven by a cold, genocidal resolve. He seeks to obliterate all life on Earth as a form of revenge. This motivation is intensely personal, rooted in his history with Klein Sandman, the leader of the Earth-based Gran Knights. Sandman is Zerabaia's brother-in-law, having been married to Zerabaia's younger sister, Lupira. The destruction of their home worlds and the death of Lupira transformed their relationship from family into one of bitter enmity. His existing despair was compounded when the Genocidron System took control of his mind, bending his intellect and soul toward pure destruction. He is shown to be cunning, using the Gerabaia to gather combat data and adapt to the Gran Knights' strategies.

Throughout the story, Zerabaia operates from the shadows before revealing himself as the ultimate threat. He commands the Gerabaia forces in their assault on humanity. His most significant creation is Goma, a massive battle satellite that is itself a planet-sized Gerabaia and the very heart of the Genocidron System. His role culminates in piloting Gerabion, the golden, flame-bodied mecha that serves as his final line of defense, which he uses to confront the heroes within the core of Goma.

His most crucial relationship is with his sister, Lupira, who died long ago. Unable to let go, Zerabaia created an android replica of her to keep by his side. While he uses this android as a tool against his enemies, it also reveals the vestiges of his humanity, as the programmed copy of Lupira inadvertently shows a will of its own to stop the fighting. His relationship with Sandman is one of direct opposition, with Zerabaia blaming him for the past and seeking to destroy everything he protects. He is also shown to be the father of Leele, who is the daughter of the original Lupira and Sandman, making him her uncle.

Zerabaia undergoes a notable development in the final confrontation. After being defeated by Sandman within Goma, he and his sister's android manage to break free from the Genocidron system's corrupting control. In his last moments, he reconciles with Sandman, restoring their original bond before meeting his end alongside the android Lupira as the Goma satellite is destroyed.

His notable abilities stem from his fusion with the Genocidron system. Having survived a fatal explosion by merging his physical body with his own creation, he possesses an extended existence directly linked to the weapon. This fusion grants him control over all Gerabaia units and allows him to command the battle planet Goma itself. In combat, he directly pilots the formidable Gerabion, which is composed of pure energy, allowing it to ignore most physical attacks.
