Description
"Gravion Zwei" is the second season of the mecha anime series "Gravion," continuing the story of the Earth Gult Foundation and its battle against the Zeravire, a mysterious alien force threatening humanity. The series picks up shortly after the events of the first season, with the Earth Gult Foundation reassembling its team of pilots to operate the Gravion, a powerful mecha formed by combining multiple smaller units. The team, known as the Gran Knights, includes Eiji Shigure, a skilled but emotionally reserved pilot; Toga Tenkuuji, the flamboyant and confident leader; and the Sandman siblings, Leele and Mizuki, who provide technical and combat support.
The narrative delves deeper into the origins of the Zeravire, revealing their connection to a failed experiment conducted by the Earth Gult Foundation years earlier. This experiment, intended to harness energy from another dimension, inadvertently created the Zeravire, which now seeks to destroy humanity. As the Gran Knights continue their battles, tensions rise within the team, particularly between Eiji and Toga, whose contrasting personalities and motivations often clash. Eiji struggles with his past and his role in the conflict, while Toga remains focused on leading the team to victory, driven by a sense of duty and personal ambition.
The series introduces new characters, including Klein Sandman, the estranged father of Leele and Mizuki, who plays a pivotal role in uncovering the truth behind the Zeravire and the Earth Gult Foundation's involvement. Klein's reappearance adds complexity to the narrative, as his actions and decisions have far-reaching consequences for the team and the ongoing battle. The Gran Knights face increasingly powerful Zeravire forces, leading to intense mecha battles that test their skills and resolve.
As the story progresses, the Gran Knights uncover a hidden agenda within the Earth Gult Foundation, revealing that the organization's leadership has been manipulating events to achieve their own goals. This revelation forces the team to confront their loyalties and question the true nature of their mission. The series builds toward a climactic confrontation with the Zeravire, culminating in a final battle that determines the fate of humanity. Throughout the series, themes of sacrifice, redemption, and the consequences of scientific ambition are explored, adding depth to the action-driven plot. "Gravion Zwei" concludes with a resolution to the immediate conflict, while leaving room for further exploration of its world and characters.

6Lamenting Rosario
Mizuki Tachibana reveals herself as a spy working for the Earth Federation Alliance intelligence division and receives a gold card for her work. Leele experiences a dream in which Sandman carries her while crying over the destruction of Llambias. Dica advises the other pilots to let Leele rest,as her encounter with the Zeravire at the amusement park left her mentally unstable. Raven tells Toga that Leele peeked into the Zeravire's memories during that experience, causing her severe mental stress. The maids notice Mizuki has disappeared, and a letter from her confesses her role as a spy. Another letter from Mizuki provides access to a virtual room, where the pilots find footage of Sandman discussing Gran Sigma with Llambias representatives. The footage reveals Sandman as a member of the Zeravire family and shows him arguing with Hugi about restoring Llambias. Sandman appears in the virtual room and announces that Leele is his daughter. He explains that before Llambias fell to the Selians, he and Leele escaped to Earth while his wife Lufira and brother Hugi supposedly died. Leele wakes up and tells Toga she wants to remember her past. Toga takes Leele to the virtual room, where she sees the footage revealing Sandman as her father. The mental stress causes Leele to fall from a balcony into the water, and Eiji rescues her before lashing out at Toga for his heartlessness.
7The Shattered Goddess
Sandman and the castle maids gather in Leele’s bedroom to tend to her condition. Eiji confronts Luna about Toga’s apparent lack of compassion toward Leele. Toga stands alone in the garden, reflecting on his actions and their impact on Leele. Eina finds Toga there and later returns to the castle, admitting her inability to change Toga’s behavior. A Zeravire attack alarm sounds, and all pilots except Leele mobilize to their Gran Divas. Toga activates Elgo Mode to form Gravion, but the Zeravire corrupts the combination sequence. The Zeravire’s interference inflicts severe physical and mental damage on Toga through the Gran Kaiser. Eina initiates Proto Gran Diva Mode, seizing control of all Gran Divas’ functions in an attempt to rescue Toga. Eina sacrifices herself and appears to destroy the Zeravire in the process. The Zeravire survives and resumes its assault, driving the G-Driller carrying Luna into the water. Faye and the G-Soldiers deploy their Gran Troopers to intercept the Zeravire just as it prepares to destroy the Gran Kaiser. With Eina gone and Toga incapacitated, the team faces a Zeravire that refuses to fall and a missing protector.
8When Gravity Becomes Weak
Extensive damage from the last battle against the Zeravire leaves Gravion inoperable for three days. Toga disappears from the mansion, and Eiji searches for him on motorcycle. The Earth Federation Alliance holds Luna captive in a military base and analyzes her DNA to extract Gravion data. Sandman isolates himself in his bedroom, gripped by the fear that Hugi will appear and destroy Earth. Raven visits Sandman, removes her mask, and reveals herself to be Ayaka, Eiji's missing sister. Ayaka demands to know what Sandman fights for and snaps him out his paralysis. The EFA publicly unveils its own Gravion clone unit, the Gran Troopers, and dispatches them against a Zeravire. The Gran Troopers destroy the Zeravire with the Lightning Bomber attack. Sandman realizes the light from the Lightning Bomber matches the light Hugi will use to annihilate Earth. Two thugs corner Toga in a poor downtown district, but Faye arrives and rescues him. The episode ends with the EFA's new weapon operational and Sandman aware of the impending connection between its power and the enemy's ultimate weapon.
