Haruna Ikezawa is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer born on December 15, 1975, in Athens, Greece. She is affiliated with the talent agency Across Entertainment. She announced her marriage to a non-celebrity man in July 2020.

Ikezawa comes from a distinguished literary family; her father is Akutagawa Prize-winning author Natsuki Ikezawa, and her paternal grandfather was the poet and novelist Takehiko Fukunaga. She was raised in Japan and is a graduate of the Seijo Gakouen schools. Her career began in 1994 while she was still a university student, working as an assistant on a television program before making her voice acting debut with a guest role in the Japanese dub of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime.

Ikezawa is known for her versatile vocal range, capable of portraying a wide variety of character types, from energetic boys and earnest young women to characters with complex personalities. One of her most iconic early roles was as the enthusiastic young racer Go Seiba in the long-running series Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!! and its sequels. She also gained widespread recognition as the voice of the hamster owner Hiroko Haruna in Tottoko Hamutarō (Hamtaro), a role she played across numerous series and films.

A significant milestone in her career was being personally selected by author KONNO Oyuki to voice Yoshino Shimazu in the Maria Watches Over Us (Maria-sama ga Miteru) anime adaptation. Konno, upon seeing Ikezawa on a television program, felt she was the perfect embodiment of the character. Ikezawa would go on to voice Yoshino in all seasons of the anime, including Maria Watches Over Us Season 2, 3rd Season, and 4th Season, as well as the related special Don't Tell Mother Maria. Another notable long-term role is Momoka Nishizawa, the wealthy girl with a split personality, in the popular comedy series Keroro Gunsō (Sgt. Frog).

In the magical girl genre, she is well-known as the voice of the fairy Porun in the Futari wa Pretty Cure series, appearing in the television shows Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart and several Precure All-Stars crossover films. Beyond anime, Ikezawa has a prominent career in video games. Since 1998, she has been the definitive voice of the psychic idol Athena Asamiya in The King of Fighters series, a role for which she is particularly well-known. She also provided the Japanese voice for Coco Bandicoot in the Crash Bandicoot video game series. Her other game roles include Marlone in the Atelier Marie series and Mao Mizusawa in KimiKiss.

In addition to her voice work, Ikezawa is a noted essayist and author with a deep passion for science fiction. She is a member and, since 2020, the president of the Japan Science Fiction Writers Club. In 2017, she became the first voice actor to receive the prestigious Seiun Award, winning in the non-fiction category for her essay collection SF no S wa, Suteki no S (The S in SF Stands for Wonderful). She later won another Seiun Award in 2021 for her short story Orbital Christmas.
