Description
Nagisa Azuya is a supporting character in CLAMP School Detectives. She is a five-year-old kindergarten student known for her gentle and shy nature. She was born to a musician father who once performed before royalty and a mother who is a renowned traditional Japanese dancer. According to her best friend Utako Ookawa, Nagisa possesses enough natural talent to surpass both of her parents. She is particularly skilled at playing the flute, and she also has a hobby of playing the Japanese flute. Nagisa is often seen wearing her school uniform, but sometimes she wears traditional Japanese clothing such as kimonos. At first encounter, Suoh Takamura mistook her for a wisteria fairy because of her ethereal appearance. Suoh quickly developed a crush on her, and Nagisa reciprocates his feelings. Their relationship is a gentle, budding affection. Nagisa’s motivations are not driven by ambition; rather, she is a kind-hearted child who is supportive of those around her. In the story, she appears primarily as a friend of Utako and as a love interest for Suoh, contributing to the softer, more sentimental side of the series. Her musical ability and her potential to surpass her accomplished parents are noted as her most remarkable traits. Throughout the series, Nagisa remains a calm and sweet presence, showing little dramatic change but consistently embodying her quiet talent and warm personality.
