Description
Go Seiba is Retsu Seiba's younger brother by one year, distinguished by his blue-themed appearance: blue hair, blue eyes, and signature goggles consistently worn outside school or sleep. His initial attire included a yellow vest over a white t-shirt, green pants, and unique boots paired with blue gloves, later evolving into TRF Victorys team gear and finally a blue-white jacket with a yellow shirt in later series—always retaining the goggles and gloves.
As a 10-year-old fourth grader, he exhibits an impulsive, impatient, and fiercely competitive personality, convinced that speed defines Mini 4WD racing excellence. This belief drove him to design cars favoring raw velocity over stability, excelling in straight-line sprints but faltering on technical tracks. Despite his brashness, he staunchly rejects underhanded tactics or weaponized cars, adhering to fair play. His occasional ingenuity in car design clashed with teamwork early on, particularly during the World Grand Prix (WGP), where he prioritized personal wins over cooperation before embracing group strategy. Personal quirks include gifting unwanted paprika to Retsu and a fear of heights.
His racing journey launched with the Manta Ray Jr., a straight-line speed machine plagued by instability. His first original car, the Magnum Saber, intensified this focus and birthed his "Magnum Tornado" technique—using minimal downforce to spin mid-air like a baseball. The Saber’s sentimental destruction in a volcanic accident devastated him. Subsequent machines included the Victory Magnum, which improved downforce only to be destroyed by Rei Hijikata’s Ray Stinger; the Cyclone Magnum, a self-built "Super Downforce Machine" with acceleration flaws later corrected; and the Beat Magnum, which debuted the "Magnum Dynamite" jump and won the first Mini 4WD World Grand Prix. Manga-exclusive vehicles included Lightning Magnum and later Bison Magnum.
His growth revealed gradual maturity: initial reluctance to replace lost cars (like the Saber with Victory Magnum) gave way to embracing upgrades. By the WGP, he evolved from a lone racer to a collaborative TRF Victorys teammate, contributing to strategies like the "V Formation" with Retsu’s car. As an adult (Return Racers), he became a professional racecar driver owning a BMW Mini convertible, mentored aspiring racer Tsubasa, and competed with machines like Z Wing Magnum and Great Magnum Revolver. His dynamic with Retsu balanced rivalry and partnership, uniting against battle-racing foes to uphold their sportsmanship code.
