Victor Joseph Mignogna is an American actor and musician known for his extensive work in the English dubs of Japanese anime series and films. He was born on August 27, 1962, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. His career in voice acting began in Houston, Texas, at ADV Films, where he was involved in video production and secured his debut role as Vega in the anime series Street Fighter II V.

Mignogna's voice acting career encompasses a wide range of prominent roles. He is perhaps best known for voicing Edward Elric in the Fullmetal Alchemist series, a performance that earned him the American Anime Award for Best Actor in 2007. He also provided the voice for the powerful Saiyan Broly in multiple Dragon Ball Z films and the feature film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Another notable role is Tamaki Suoh in the popular romantic comedy Ouran High School Host Club. His other significant anime credits include Fai D. Flowright in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach, Nagato and Obito Uchiha in Naruto Shippuden, Rohan Kishibe in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Qrow Branwen in the web series RWBY, and Matt Ishida in Digimon Adventure tri.. Beyond anime, Mignogna was deeply involved in Star Trek fan productions. He directed and starred as Captain James T. Kirk in the acclaimed web series Star Trek Continues. He has also had a parallel career in music, releasing several albums that often feature English covers of anime theme songs, and he worked as a worship leader and produced commercial jingles.

In early 2019, Mignogna faced multiple public allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. As a result of these allegations and subsequent investigations, he was dismissed from Funimation and Rooster Teeth productions, and several anime conventions removed him from their guest lists. Mignogna denied the accusations and filed a lawsuit against Funimation and several voice actors for defamation, which was ultimately dismissed under Texas anti-SLAPP laws, with the court ordering him to pay the defendants' legal fees. This controversy led to him being recast in some previous roles, such as Rohan Kishibe, and has significantly impacted his presence in the mainstream voice-acting industry.
