Mikazuki Munechika is a tachi sword and one of the five great swords of Japan, widely regarded as the most beautiful among them. He was born near the end of the 11th century, a fact that gives him the affectionate nickname jiji, reflecting the wisdom and perspective of great age. In his human form, he appears as a young man with blue hair and blue eyes, standing approximately 1.80 meters tall. He wears a black hairband with golden tassels, black gloves, and a hakama skirt beneath a sayagata patterned kariginu, giving him an elegant and aristocratic bearing that recalls the Heian period.
