Jessica Boone is an American actress whose career encompasses a significant body of voice work in anime, primarily recorded in Texas, alongside an extensive career in classical and musical theatre. Born on May 14, 1984, she began her voice-over career in Houston, becoming a prominent figure for anime dubbing studios such as ADV Films, Funimation, Sentai Filmworks, and Seraphim Digital. In these studios, she lent her voice to hundreds of characters across numerous series and films.
Her early anime roles quickly established her presence in the industry, with one of her debut roles being Yoshimi in the All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku OVA. She gained recognition for portraying leading and supporting characters in a wide variety of genres. Among her most noted roles is Chiyo Mihama, the child prodigy in the beloved comedy series Azumanga Daioh. She also voiced the complex role of Rue, also known as Princess Kraehe, in the fairy tale ballet-themed series Princess Tutu, and Misaki Suzuhara in Angelic Layer.
