Chrono, sealed in a pendant, warns Rosette that drawing on his full power will shorten her remaining lifespan. Rosette removes the pendant’s seal, allowing Chrono to assume his adult demon form. Chrono incinerates the enemy demon with a concentrated blast of energy. Rosette loses consciousness from the strain, and Chrono reverts to his smaller, weaker form. The Order’s leader, Sister Kate, later reprimands Rosette for reckless use of Chrono’s power. In a flashback, Rosette recalls forming the contract with Chrono as a child after her brother Joshua disappeared. The episode closes with the demon Aion observing the battle site, confirming his interest in both Chrono and Rosette.
