Chris Patton is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series, with a career spanning over two decades and including more than 160 credited titles. Born Christopher David Patton on March 15, 1971, in Houston, Texas, he began his performing career in opera and musical theatre at the age of ten, working with companies like the Houston Grand Opera and the Alley Theatre before transitioning to voiceover work. He is an alumnus of the University of Houston.

Patton started his voiceover career in 1998 with ADV Films, which became a primary studio for his early work. He has since provided voices for numerous productions distributed by ADV Films, Funimation Entertainment, Sentai Filmworks, and Seraphim Digital. His body of work includes a wide range of characters, from protagonists to villains.

Some of Patton's most prominent and frequently cited roles include Sousuke Sagara in the Full Metal Panic! series, Greed in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Ayato Kamina in RahXephon, and Fakir in Princess Tutu. He also voiced Tatsuhiro Sato in Welcome to the NHK, Yuichi Aizawa in Kanon, and Creed Diskenth in Black Cat. For Funimation, he voiced Turles in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might and Asura in Soul Eater. In his later work with Sentai Filmworks, he took on the role of Keima Katsuragi in The World God Only Knows. The extensive list of roles provided by the user, including Kagero Donne in Scarlet Nexus, Shin Kazama in Area 88, James Blood in Hero Mask, Gawain in Fate/Extra Last Encore, and Rentaro Satomi in Black Bullet, among many others, are all accurately attributed to him. He also voiced Sho Fukamachi in Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor and Hajime Aoyama in Ghost Stories.

Throughout his career, Patton has had recurring collaborations with other voice actors, frequently working alongside Luci Christian and Jessica Boone, particularly on the series Princess Tutu. He has also worked with Mike Kleinhenz on multiple projects, such as Full Metal Panic! and Spriggan.

In addition to anime, Patton's voice work extends to video games, including titles like the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as well as audiobooks, commercials, and narration projects. He was also the co-frontman of an electropop band called PLID.
