Alexander Doering is a prominent German voice actor, not a Japanese anime voice actor. He is best known for providing the German dubbing voices for numerous international film and television stars, including Dominic Monaghan, Sam Worthington, and Henry Cavill. His work on anime series involves voicing characters for the German-language adaptations of these shows.

Born on December 28, 1974, in East Berlin, Doering is the son of actor Rainer Doering and the older brother of voice actress Manja Doering. He trained at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1999 to 2003 and was a regular ensemble member at the Berliner Ensemble theatre until 2007.

In addition to his extensive work in live-action dubbing, Alexander Doering has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in German-dubbed anime. He voiced the role of Charon in the series Fire Force. He is also the German voice of Soma Asman Kadar, the Prince of Bengal, in the Black Butler franchise, including the main series, Black Butler: Book of Murder, and Black Butler: His Butler, Performer. In the Eden of the East universe, he voiced Yuusei Kondou in both the series and the film Eden of the East: Air Communication.

His other notable anime dubbing credits include Soutetsu Asou in Zombie-Loan, Sousuke Ajino in The Piano Forest, and he has provided the German voice for the character Shin in two Fist of the North Star titles: Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Kenshirō-den and Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken: Yuria-den. Doering is also a long-standing voice for the character Ninzaburou Shiratori in the long-running Detective Conan film series, including in Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie, a role he has played for many years.
