Liane Rudolph is a German actress and voice actress, born on May 26, 1952, in Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria. She trained as an actress in West Berlin, where she also performed at the Schillertheater. From 1974 to 1975, she worked for the BBC in London before returning to Germany to perform on stages in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf between 1975 and 1986. She was also a member of the Berlin cabaret Die Stachelschweine from 1986 to 1987.

Rudolph has been active as a voice actress since 1975, lending her voice to numerous international film and television productions for the German market. Her work is not limited to animation; she is known for being the standard German voice for many prominent actresses, including Christine Baranski, Nana Visitor, Madeleine Stowe, Laura Innes, and Lea Thompson. Some of her most recognized roles in live-action dubbing include Dr. Beverly Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory, Major Kira Nerys in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Dr. Kerry Weaver in ER, and Lorraine Baines in the Back to the Future trilogy.

In the realm of anime and animation, Rudolph has contributed her voice to several series and films. According to the Deutsche Synchronkartei, a database of German dubbing work, she provided the German voice for the character Saeko Nogami in the anime series City Hunter - Ein Fall für Ryo Saeba, which aired from 1987 to 1989. She also voiced the same character in several City Hunter movies that were dubbed for a 2009 release, including City Hunter: Bay City Wars, City Hunter: Million Dollar Conspiracy, and City Hunter: The Secret Service. Other animation voice roles include Miss Fowl in the Jimmy Neutron film and series, Lady Griffin in Winx Club, and Principal Dawn S. Folsom in Fillmore.
