Dai Matsumoto is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator from Tokyo, born on June 1, 1959. He is affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society (Haikyō) and is known for his distinctive low baritone voice. He began his professional career in 1984 and joined Haikyō in 1991. His anime debut is often cited as a role in Mobile Fighter G Gundam in 1994.
Matsumoto has built an extensive career with a wide range of voice roles across anime, video games, and tokusatsu. He has voiced characters such as Raguel Foster in The Maiden Diaries and Maiden of Deliverance, Beethoven in After School Midnighters, Coredom in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, and the Junk shop guy in Freedom.
