Massimo Di Benedetto is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Acqui Terme, Piedmont, on March 16, 1977. He began his career in the late 1990s after attending acting courses at the Centro Teatro Attivo in Milan, where he moved in 1999 to pursue voice acting. He is widely recognized for providing the Italian voices for numerous protagonists in popular anime series.

His most iconic and career-defining role is that of Yugi Muto and his alter ego Yami Yugi in the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh!. His work on this long-running series earned him the award for Best Male Newcomer at the Cartoon & TV Awards in 2005. He has since reprised the role in various films, including Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. His association with the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise extended to other characters, such as Dimitri in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and III/Michael Arclight in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.

Di Benedetto is a prolific voice in the world of Pokémon, having voiced numerous characters across the long-running series. His roles include the rival coordinators Drew in Pokémon Advanced and Paul in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, as well as Gary Oak in various series including Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Trip in Pokémon Black and White, and the protagonist Red in Pokémon Origins. Another major franchise role is Rock Lee in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, a character he has voiced for many years.

His other prominent anime roles encompass a wide range of characters. He is the voice of Hao Asakura in Shaman King, Killua Zaoldyeck in the OVA episodes of Hunter x Hunter, Ittetsu Takeda in Haikyu!!, and Yuga Aoyama in My Hero Academia. He also voiced Franky in Spy x Family, Jaco in Dragon Ball Super, and has been involved with the Beyblade franchise, voicing characters like Sho Tenma in BeyWarriors: BeyRaiderz.

In addition to his on-screen roles, Di Benedetto has an extensive portfolio in video game dubbing. He is known for being the Italian voice of Harry Potter in several of the video game adaptations, Dante in Devil May Cry, and Orbot from Sonic Generations onwards. Beyond acting, he has also taken on the role of dubbing director for many Italian versions of anime, including Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Tokyo Revengers, and The First Slam Dunk.
