Mantle is a minor character and villager of Ishigami Village in the world of Dr. Stone. He is best known as the devoted lackey of Magma, a physically imposing warrior. Mantle is of short stature with a small body but a large belly, visible chest hair, and a disproportionately large head. His personality is characterized by submissiveness, cunning, and deviousness, as he is almost always seen pandering to Magma’s every whim and rarely speaks beyond a simple “Aii.” His primary motivation appears to be wanting to feel important and strong by associating himself with Magma, rather than standing on his own merits. Mantle serves as a minor antagonist during the Village Games Arc, where he uses underhanded tactics to sabotage the Kingdom of Science. He ties up Suika and falsely claims she is drowning in order to distract and disqualify Kohaku from the fights. This act illustrates his willingness to cheat to support his idol.
