Her career in voice acting began after initial work in music and live performance. While performing with a band, a director who recognized her vocal quality suggested she pursue voice work. This led to an audition with Funimation, where she was initially considered for female characters but was ultimately cast in the role of the young Son Gohan in the English adaptation of Dragon Ball Z.

Nadolny became a prominent voice for Funimation and ADV Films, voicing the child versions of both Goku and his son Gohan across numerous series, films, and video games. After a period away from the role, Nadolny returned to voice acting in the 2010s. She was cast as the titular character K.O. in the pilot for Cartoon Network's OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes and reprised the role in the subsequent television series and mobile game. In a significant return to her most famous character, she was confirmed to reprise her role as a young Goku for the English dub of the 2024 series Dragon Ball Daima, marking her first time voicing the character in a new series in nearly 15 years.

In addition to her voice acting, Nadolny has maintained an active career as a vocalist and performer. She toured for over 25 years with the band Vince Vance and the Valiants, contributed vocals to over 20 albums with Grammy Award-winning polka band Brave Combo, and has performed with her own group, the Moonglass Band.
