Kenichi Suzumura is a prominent Japanese voice actor and singer born on September 12, 1974, in Niigata Prefecture. He launched his career in 1994 with a role in the television anime Macross 7, following his studies at Yoyogi Animation Academy and the Japan Narration Actor Institute. Suzumura is known for his clear voice and significant versatility, allowing him to portray a wide spectrum of characters, from energetic youths to complex antagonists.

Throughout his extensive career, Suzumura has brought to life numerous iconic characters. Some of his most notable and enduring roles include Shinn Asuka in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, Sogo Okita in Gintama, and Hikaru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club. He is also recognized for his performances as Lavi in D.Gray-man, Atsushi Murasakibara in Kuroko's Basketball, Rogue Cheney in Fairy Tail, and Zack in the Final Fantasy VII series. In more recent years, his filmography has continued to expand with roles such as Obanai Iguro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Julius Rapha Holfort in Trapped in a Dating Sim, and Ryosuke Kira in Blue Lock. He is also affiliated with the voice actor unit STA☆MEN.

Suzumura's talent has been recognized with multiple Seiyu Awards. He won the Best Personality Award and a Synergy Award in 2008, the Best Musical Performance Award as part of the group ST☆RISH in 2012, and the Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Personality Award in 2016 for his work in Osomatsu-san. In 2012, Suzumura founded his own voice acting agency, INTENTION, where he serves as a representative. He has been married to fellow voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto since 2011.
