Kouji Maeda is an eighteen-year-old high school student with purple hair and gray eyes, standing 173 centimeters tall. His hobbies include relaxing, being lazy, and spending time with girls. As the protagonist of Welcome to Pia Carrot 2 DX, he decides to seek part-time employment at the Pia Carrot restaurant after noticing an attractive waitress in the establishment's uniform. On the way to apply, he accidentally collides with Azusa Hinomori, and a series of misunderstandings ignites a fierce mutual hatred. Upon starting work, he is shocked to find Azusa as a fellow new hire, forcing them to interact daily in the restaurant setting.
