Description
Orudina, also rendered in some materials as Oldina, is an extraterrestrial law enforcement officer who appears as a supporting character in the anime Figure 17: Tsubasa & Hikaru. She is an adult woman with shoulder-length blonde or yellow hair and blue eyes, and she operates as part of an intergalactic police force.
Her primary mission on Earth is to assist D.D., another officer from her organization, in locating and exterminating the Maguar that have been scattered across Hokkaido after the crash of D.D.'s transport. When she arrives, she discovers that one of D.D.'s Ribers combat units came into contact with the human girl Tsubasa and took on a human form as Hikaru. Orudina is not pleased by this development, as she considers D.D.'s contact with humans a violation of a primary protocol. This violation becomes a source of tension early in her time on Earth.
In terms of personality, Orudina is disciplined, stern, and by-the-book. She approaches her work with professional detachment and displays an unfriendly attitude toward the twins Tsubasa and Hikaru, in large part because of the irregular circumstances surrounding Hikaru's creation. She is also particular about her combat methods, preferring to engage the Maguar with long-range weaponry rather than using a Ribers unit in close combat.
