Alekseï is a recurring character in the Beyblade anime, first appearing in Metal Masters and continuing into Metal Fury. He serves as the leader of the Russian national team, Team Lovushka, and shares with his teammates Nowaguma and Lera a primary ambition to study space and one day travel there. His Beyblade is Burn Wolf SW145WD. Alekseï presents a studious and intellectual demeanor, emphasized by his glasses, and shows genuine interest in scientific topics like space and Beyblade statistics. However, he is also pragmatic to a fault and willing to use dishonest methods to secure victory, following the directives of his team manager Anton. In Metal Masters, he befriends the mechanic Madoka as a ruse to secretly download battle data from her computer, and he uses a custom stadium that emits wave energy to neutralize opponents’ special moves. Despite these advantages, he is defeated by Yu Tendo, though his team still obtains sponsorship. He later participates in the Constellation Tournament and is defeated by the blader Damien. In Metal Fury, Alekseï enters the Sphere 360 match but loses to Jigsaw’s special move. He and his team then provide Gingka and his friends with crucial data about the Cosmos, helping them locate the antagonist Nemesis. In the epilogue, Alekseï appears with his team, still pursuing their dreams. His notable special moves include Gravity Demolisher and, when using his specialized arena, Sputnik, reflecting a fighting style that relies heavily on external factors.
