TV-Series
Description
Mio Ibuki is a student in Class C at the Advanced Nurturing High School, later advancing to Class 2-B as the series progresses into the second year first semester arc featured in Classroom of the Elite 4th Season. She stands at average height with short blue hair, a single strand often sticking up, and purple eyes. Her academic performance is decent, placed around a C grade, but her true strength lies in her physical abilities, which are rated B-minus. She is highly skilled in combat, having studied multiple martial arts, making her a formidable opponent in direct confrontations.

Personality-wise, Ibuki is reserved, competitive, and blunt. She speaks little, often using a sharp tongue, and maintains few friendships, preferring to act alone. This gives her a cold, distant demeanor. Her motivations are closely tied to her class’s interests, though she harbors a deep distrust of her own class leader, Kakeru Ryuen, with whom she has a strained and complicated relationship. Despite her abrasiveness, she is not outright malicious; rather, she is pragmatic and sometimes reluctantly cooperative when the situation demands it.

In the story, Ibuki initially served as a spy for Class C, infiltrating Class D during the Cruise Ship Special Test, where she attempted to uncover strategies for Ryuen’s benefit. This role placed her in direct opposition to Suzune Horikita, sparking a rivalry that continues into the second year. During the second year first semester, Ibuki remains a supporting figure from Class C, often crossing paths with Ayanokoji Kiyotaka and other key students. Her interactions with Ayanokoji frequently involve being outmaneuvered or forced into uneasy alliances, which adds to her ongoing frustration and development.

Ibuki’s notable abilities include her martial arts proficiency, quick reflexes, and endurance. She is capable of holding her own against trained fighters and uses her physicality as her primary asset. Her quick-thinking ability is rated low, meaning she tends to rely on direct action rather than complex strategy, though she can be cunning when necessary. Over the course of the series, she gradually becomes more entangled in the school’s larger power struggles, and while she remains loyal to Class C’s advancement, her personal growth involves learning to navigate alliances and confrontations that challenge her solitary nature.
