TV-Series
Description
Enzo Garcia is a character who originates from the Brazilian blading team known as Team Garcias, making his first appearance earlier in the Metal Saga before his role in Beyblade: Shogun Steel. He is one of four siblings on the team, alongside his older brother Argo, his younger brother Ian, and his sister Selen. As a member of this family unit, Enzo shares their background, having grown up in harsh conditions as an orphan on the streets of Brazil. This difficult upbringing shaped the team's core philosophy, teaching them to prioritize victory above all else and to be willing to use any means necessary to win, often relying on underhanded tactics and trickery.

In terms of appearance, Enzo is characterized by short, messy black hair that reaches the back of his neck, brown eyes, and dark olive skin. His typical outfit consists of a small, dull bronze shirt covered by an army green safari jacket, paired with brown pants fastened with a dark brown belt. His personality is marked by a peculiar verbal tic, as he frequently utters the phrase "Amazing, huh" in a variety of situations, sometimes uttering it at moments where it seems disconnected from the ongoing conversation. This habit gives him an air of someone who is perpetually impressed or trying to project a sense of cool detachment.

Enzo's role in Shogun Steel represents a significant escalation from his earlier appearances. Along with the rest of Team Garcias, he becomes one of the primary antagonists as a leader of a new organization called DNA, which stands for Dark Nebula Again. This organization was founded when the Garcia siblings discovered an old system from the defunct Hades Inc., a supercomputer named Merci that had preserved the spirit of the villain Doji. From this position of power, the Garcias orchestrate events from behind the scenes, sending agents like Kira Hayama and Yoshio Iwayama to infiltrate major tournaments and further their plans for domination. His presence in the story is largely felt through his family's overarching schemes, as they monitor the new generation of bladers and express a willingness to battle them directly if necessary.

The key relationships in Enzo's life are almost entirely familial. He functions as an integral part of the sibling unit, with his older brother Argo serving as the team's leader and primary strategist. They have a well-established dynamic where Enzo is often used to bait or scout opponents, exploiting his unassuming nature to gain information on the enemy's power and strategy before the rest of the team moves in. His connection to other characters is defined by opposition; he stands against the heroes of the Metal Saga, including Tsubasa Otori and Benkei, as well as the new protagonists like Zyro and his friends.

Regarding his development, Enzo's character arc moves from being a member of a national team that relies on dirty tricks to a more prominent villainous role as a leader of a global conspiracy in Shogun Steel. Despite this rise in status, his fundamental motivations remain rooted in the same bitterness and resentment from his childhood, believing that other bladers had easier lives and that his family must seize power for themselves. His tactics continue to reflect his upbringing as a combat pragmatist, and he is shown using his knowledge of terrain and technology to trap opponents, such as when he blocks a path with Beyblade-proof metal doors to corner members of the opposing team.

As a blader, Enzo's notable abilities are tied to his Beyblade, Ray Gasher M145Q. His battle style emphasizes deception and opportunism rather than straightforward power. He is known to wear down opponents through unfair means and strikes when they are at a disadvantage, as demonstrated in his early victory over the already-injured Yu Tendo. However, his abilities have clear limits; when confronted by a superior blader fighting under fair conditions, such as Masamune Kadoya, Enzo is easily defeated. In Shogun Steel, while his specific Beyblade is not given a physical release, it is implied that the Garcia siblings may possess new Beys with Synchrom abilities, continuing their role as persistent and adaptable adversaries.
