Description
Arisa Takanomiya is a character who initially appears as a younger classmate and the student council president at the academy the main characters attend. Her background reveals a much deeper connection to the protagonist, Akito, as she is the daughter of the family that adopted him after his parents died. This makes her his adoptive younger sister and, according to an arrangement between the families, his fiancée.
Despite her young age of only twelve, Arisa is portrayed as a genuine prodigy. She has already graduated from a prestigious university, and her academic work, including essays and theses, has been published in well-known professional journals and magazines. Beyond her intellectual gifts, she is also highly skilled in traditional domestic tasks, proving herself to be proficient at household chores.
In terms of personality, Arisa is often calm and reserved, frequently becoming quiet rather than expressing herself through forceful speech. Instead, she tends to communicate her feelings through her facial expressions, a trait that others in the story find exceptionally endearing and difficult to resist. She is generally kind and innocent, which has earned her the affectionate nickname of being a secret weapon of her family. A notable and unusual quirk she possesses is the habit of unconsciously taking off all her clothes while she is asleep.
Arisa's primary motivation is her affection for Akito, which goes beyond that of a simple sibling. She actively considers herself his fiancée and a rival for his romantic attention. Her role in the story expands when she moves into the student council dormitory, where she assumes the responsibilities of the dorm manager. Her arrival introduces a new dynamic, as she is seen as a direct romantic rival by Akito's biological sister, Akiko. Unlike the other members of the student council who dismiss the engagement because of her age, Akiko is the only one who initially views her as a serious threat. However, after a disagreement over who is more suitable for Akito, the two rivals ultimately realize that Akito sees them both as his younger sisters rather than potential love interests. This realization leads them to put aside their conflict and work together.
Throughout the story, Arisa's development involves integrating into the group of older students and navigating her complex relationship with both Akito and Akiko. Her abilities are primarily intellectual and domestic, with her academic achievements being far beyond her years and her skill in running a household making her an effective dormitory manager.
