Description
Kitamakura Hibachi is a student at the all-girls St. Azumaria Academy, where she is a classmate of the main protagonist Botan Ichige. She shares a dormitory room with another student, Yagyuu Momoko. Hibachi has a notably anxious and high-strung personality, frequently becoming nervous or embarrassed. She has a distinctive habit of covering her eyes with her hair ribbon whenever she finds herself in an uncomfortable or awkward situation. Beyond her pronounced shyness, Hibachi also exhibits slight masochistic tendencies.

Hibachi's role in the story becomes particularly significant in the latter half, where she is considered a key figure. A central incident involving her occurs when she accidentally consumes the angel egg belonging to her classmate Botan. This event triggers a surprising transformation, as consuming the egg causes her to awaken to angelic powers, which in turn results in her laying an angel egg of her own. The most prominent relationship in Hibachi's life is with her roommate, Yagyuu Momoko. Momoko is deeply in love with Hibachi, a sentiment that adds a layer of complexity to their dynamic within the dormitory. Though Hibachi's personal feelings on this matter are not explicitly detailed, the close quarters and Momoko's affection underscore their intertwined daily lives.

Over the course of the narrative, Hibachi evolves from a purely nervous schoolgirl into a pivotal character whose accidental actions drive a major supernatural plot point. Her development is directly tied to the bizarre events set in motion by the angels at the academy, marking her transition from a passive observer to an active participant in the story's central mystery. Her notable abilities are not innate but are acquired after the accidental consumption of the angel egg. This event surprisingly opens her eyes to an angel's power, granting her supernatural capabilities linked to the production of angel eggs.
