Description
Jiato, also known as Jiart, is a character from the anime series Majestic Prince. He is a primary antagonist and holds the rank of the second prince of the alien race known as the Urgal. In terms of physical appearance, Jiato is depicted as an adolescent with white, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. He is often seen wearing a uniform that complements his composed and dangerous demeanor.

Jiato is the half-brother of the current Urgal emperor, Garquier, and the full brother of Theoria, a key figure who defects to the human side. Despite his title as the general manager of the Earth Harvest Army, he is characterized as a lone wolf who typically avoids staff meetings. His personality is defined by a deeply ingrained philosophy centered on hunting and combat. He views warfare not merely as a means of conquest but as a method of refinement, believing that engaging in battle allows for growth and the realization of Urgal's potential for evolution. This makes him a battle fanatic who is intensely focused on his chosen prey. He has no tolerance for interference, even from his own allies, and is known to cut down any comrade who gets between him and his target, inspiring fear among his own ranks.

Jiato's primary motivation throughout the story is not his brother's ambition for conquest but a personal and obsessive desire to find a worthy opponent. He is driven by the hunt itself. His role in the story becomes crucial when he singles out the protagonist, Izuru Hitachi, during a battle. Recognizing Izuru as the only human whose fighting sense matches his own, he declares Izuru to be his Ramata, a term of significant personal value. This declaration serves as a major turning point in the series, as it leads to the revelation that the Urgal are, in fact, a humanoid alien race.

One of Jiato's most significant relationships is with his brother, Emperor Garquier. Jiato's personal agenda and philosophy put him at odds with the empire's broader strategic goals, and he is eventually labeled a traitor. His relationship with his sister, Theoria, is also central, as his actions are partly driven by matters concerning her. His primary and defining relationship, however, is his adversarial bond with Izuru. He sees Izuru as his ultimate prey and the only Earthling capable of helping him test and refine his combat skills.

Throughout the series, Jiato demonstrates a clear development in his obsession. Starting as a distant and curious observer from the shadows, he becomes an increasingly direct and overwhelming threat. He uses strategy, such as placing other commanders under his command, and actively gathers information on his siblings' activities. His obsession with fighting Izuru only intensifies, culminating in a final confrontation where he refuses to give up until his very end.

Jiato is noted for his exceptional abilities, particularly as one of the best spear masters among the Urgal. His combat style heavily favors close-quarters melee combat using a spear. He is also a talented strategist, capable of outmaneuvering both his enemies and his political rivals. He pilots a distinct, high-performance mobile weapon characterized by a white color scheme with mint-colored luminescent accents. This unit is specially designed for high-mobility, single-hit escape tactics and possesses a transformation function, much like the protagonist's Red 5. The mobility and power of his personal craft reflect his own lethal and precise combat philosophy.
