Description
Haruto de Lobo is the Bronze Saint of the Wolf constellation in Saint Seiya Omega. He is a descendant of the Fuji clan of ninjas, or shinobi, which has a significant influence on his identity and fighting style. As the only son of the clan's leader, Zenzō Masataka Morigakure, Haruto was originally destined to become the eighth leader of the Fuji clan.

Haruto presents a calm, stoic, and intelligent personality, generally keeping a cool and collected demeanor. He is a good person but rarely smiles, and he can come across as cold or sarcastic at times. Despite his preference for operating alone on missions, staying true to the ninja way, he does not consider himself a solitary person and is willing to cooperate with his allies. While initially he does not get along well with the protagonist Koga, he gradually comes to understand him and repeatedly risks his life to protect him and the other Bronze Saints. A defining and unique aspect of his character is a deep passion for rock music, which becomes especially prominent in the second season, to the point where he becomes the lead singer of a Japanese rock band during a period of peace. This "rock-and-roll soul" even inspires one of his most powerful techniques.

Haruto's motivations are rooted in a tragic event from his childhood. His closest friend, an older shinobi named Yoshitomi, left their village to become the Bronze Saint of the Wolf. Years later, Yoshitomi returned, wounded and carrying a dark secret about a conspiracy within the Saints' training academy, Palestra. When the Fuji clan refused to help, Haruto secretly followed him. Yoshitomi was confronted and killed by the Silver Saint Tokisada of Clock, and a young Haruto could only watch in horror. Swearing to uncover the truth and to honor his fallen brother, Haruto took up Yoshitomi's Cloth and decided to become a Saint of Athena, forsaking his duty to his clan and family.

In the story, Haruto is first mentioned as a top student at Palestra before mysteriously disappearing. He is later introduced in the series proper when he is found imprisoned after uncovering the traitorous plans of the school's director, Ionia of Capricorn. He escapes with Koga and the others, becoming a core member of the Bronze Saints fighting in the war against the god Mars. His role continues into the second season, the war against Pallas, where he is reluctantly called back from his rock star life to fight once more for Athena.

Key relationships define Haruto's journey. The most important is his bond with Yoshitomi, who was not only a master and older brother figure but also the person with whom he shared his dream of becoming a Saint. His relationship with his father, the clan leader, is strained due to Haruto's choice to become a Saint, a path viewed as a betrayal by the ninja clan. Among his fellow Bronze Saints, his friendship with Koga is the most notable, beginning with rivalry and growing into mutual respect and deep trust. He also holds great respect for Nachi, the previous Wolf Saint from the original series, which is reflected in his own combat techniques.

Haruto undergoes significant development throughout the series. He begins as a lone operative driven by personal revenge and a sense of duty. As the story progresses, he learns to trust and fight alongside his companions, culminating in his battle against Tokisada, where he confronts his past trauma, awakens the Seventh Sense, and finally avenges Yoshitomi. His growth later leads him to a new identity that blends his three core aspects: ninja, Saint, and rock musician. In the final battles, he is among those who achieve the ultimate state of Omega, further evolving his Cloth and gaining new powers.

As a fighter, Haruto is considered one of the most versatile Bronze Saints, possessing a large and varied arsenal of abilities. He is a master of the Fuji-ryu ninja arts, allowing him to use elemental jutsu for techniques involving fire, water, earth, and even lightning. His signature style is a hybrid that combines his ninja training with his Saint combat techniques. He wields his Cosmo, which naturally has the attribute of Earth, to perform powerful physical and energy-based attacks. Notable techniques include the Hakurouken (White Wolf Fist) series of attacks, such as Touga Shissou and Tenshin Musou. His later abilities, born from his passion for music, include Rolling Stones and the devastating Wolf's Rock Dead Howling. He is also a master of traditional ninja skills like substitution (Kawarimi), cloning (Bunshin), and the use of various weapons like shuriken and kunai.
