Description
Eden is a prominent character from the anime Saint Seiya Omega, where he holds the title of the Orion Bronze Saint. He is fifteen years old and the son of the war god Mars and the witch Medea, making him the younger half-brother of Sonia. From a young age, Eden was groomed by his parents to be the ruler of a new world, a destiny he was expected to fulfill as the protector of a recreated Athena. His upbringing was demanding, involving severe training under the guidance of the Lion Gold Saint, Mycenae, which forged him into a warrior of exceptional strength even among the ranks of the Silver Saints.

Eden carries himself with an air of nobility, elegance, and profound confidence, a demeanor that naturally sets him apart from others and lends him an air of mystery. Initially, his personality is marked by arrogance and a detached belief in the dominance of the strong. He often speaks dismissively of those he considers weak, believing that without power, one has no purpose. His speech can be direct and aloof, reflecting a worldview shaped by his father's martial teachings and his own privileged isolation.

The most significant relationship in Eden's life is with Aria, a girl raised alongside him as a vessel for the goddess Athena. He forms a strong bond of friendship with her, and his feelings for her run deep, though initially, he does not fully understand or prioritize her personal desires. His other key relationships are defined by his family and his designated role. His father Mars is his commander and the architect of his destiny, while his sister Sonia is a fellow warrior in their father's army. The Gold Saint Mycenae serves as a strict and demanding mentor, pushing him to reach greater heights of power. Despite his superior status, Eden ultimately finds his path intersecting with the core group of Bronze Saints led by Koga, including Yuna, Soma, Ryuho, and later the young warrior Subaru, who become his friends and allies.

Eden's primary motivation evolves dramatically over the course of the story. In the beginning, his actions are driven by a fierce loyalty to his father's ambition to conquer the Earth and create a new order. He believes in his own power and his destined place as a ruler. However, the tragic death of Aria at the hands of his own father causes a profound emotional collapse and a complete moral awakening. This event shatters his loyalty and forces him to confront the cruelty of his family's mission. His motivation shifts from one of domination to one of justice and atonement, leading him to openly defy Mars and fight alongside the Athena Saints to save the world from the dark god Apsu. In the second season, his path becomes one of further sacrifice and conviction as he infiltrates the new enemy, the Pallasites, as a spy to aid Athena's army from within, demonstrating his commitment to protecting others.

As a fighter, Eden commands the lightning element, a testament to his raw and powerful cosmos. His signature techniques include the Folgore Renaissance, a punch that unleashes a devastating shower of lightning, and later, immensely powerful attacks like Orion's Extermination and Orion's Devastation. His growth is marked by the awakening of the Seventh Sense, which gave him the power to defeat a Gold Saint, and eventually, the ultimate cosmos known as Omega, which allowed him to strike down one of the most formidable warrior gods, Hyperion, by shattering his divine armor. Throughout his journey, Eden transforms from a cold, distant prince of a dark empire into a powerful, compassionate hero who fights for his own beliefs and the people he has come to care for.
