Telmo Mendes is a Portuguese actor, singer, dancer, and voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing foreign animation and live-action series into European Portuguese. His career in the performing arts began in theatre, with his initiation into stage work involving a production of As Três Máscaras. He went on to participate in various plays and performances, collaborating with schools, puppet theatre companies, and other entities as both an actor and musician. Mendes furthered his training by attending the Theatre and Interpretation course at the Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo in Porto, and he appeared in a production of Jesus Cristo Superstar at the Teatro Politeama and Teatro Rivoli in 2007.

Mendes has built a prolific career as a dubbing actor, providing voices for a wide array of characters in numerous animated films and television series. In the realm of anime, he is recognized for his work in several high-profile series. As noted, he voices multiple characters in the Portuguese dub of the series Glitter Force Doki Doki, including the roles of Distain Caranguejo Negro, Lance, and Manager. His other notable anime credits include the Portuguese versions of Saint Seiya Omega, where he voiced a multitude of characters such as Haruto, Eden, and Micenas, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. He also contributed to the dubs of Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V.

Beyond anime, his voice work spans a broad spectrum of international animated productions. He is known for taking on the role of Takashi Shiro Shirogane in the series Voltron: Defensor Lendário.
