Lance is a fairy from Trump Kingdom who, along with his brothers Sharuru and Raquel, travels to Earth to find the legendary Pretty Cure and locate the missing Princess Marie Ange. He is the youngest of the three fairy brothers and is partnered with Alice Yotsuba, who transforms into Cure Rosetta. Lance has the appearance of a small, yellow, bear-like creature with a club-shaped orange marking inside his ear and a round, fluffy tail. His speech is marked by the verbal tic of ending sentences with de lance. He is the most childlike and somewhat spoiled of the fairy companions, openly enjoying the comfortable lifestyle Alice provides and often seeking attention or treats. Despite his pampered demeanor, he is loyal and supportive of the Cures, always ready to help in their battles. Lance possesses the ability to detect the emergence of Jikochuu by sensing the dark pulse that accompanies their birth. He can fly and can transform into a Lovely Commune, the device used by the Cures to power their transformations. In the film, he accompanies Mana, Rikka, Alice, Makoto, and Aguri as they are thrown into the past by the mysterious Marsh. His role is to assist the Cures in protecting their precious memories and ensuring that the future is not lost. His bond with Alice is particularly strong, and he works alongside the other fairies to provide both comic relief and heartfelt encouragement during the adventure.
