TV-Series
Description
JJ, whose real name remains unknown, is the sixteen-year-old protagonist of the series and a core member of the White Nuts, the elite team tasked with defending the planet Maris from the invading Nohza Empire. Physically, he is depicted as a lean teenager with brown eyes and black or violet hair often styled into a short ponytail, standing approximately 1.68 meters tall. His initial assignment to the White Nuts was the result of a computer error, as he was originally a regular base defense member, and he is aware that a far more decorated officer was meant to take his place. This revelation becomes a source of personal doubt, though he ultimately overcomes it with the support of his commander.
In terms of personality, JJ is best described as a hot-blooded and reckless young man who often acts before thinking, making him a frequent source of trouble. He has a notable lazy streak, is prone to absent-mindedness, and regularly shows up late for missions. A prominent aspect of his character is his behavior as a Casanova wannabe, as he frequently flirts with women, makes inappropriate advances, and is known for his lecherous tendencies, which often lead to comedic moments of rejection or physical reprisal. Despite these flaws and a reputation for being a goofball, JJ is incredibly brave and transforms into a formidable fighter when the situation becomes dire, earning him a status as a hidden badass who survives impossible odds through sheer grit and luck.
Within the White Nuts, JJ serves alongside the skilled Champ and the navigator Apple. The team dynamic is marked by a simmering rivalry with Champ, largely fueled by competition for Apples attention, as JJ clearly holds feelings for her. Apple herself conceals a quiet attraction to him, creating an unspoken tension between them. Their missions are commanded by Mr. Gord, whose infinite trust in JJ helps solidify the young mans place on the team, and supported by mechanic Dave and assistant Amy Harrison, who also has a liking for JJ. His key antagonists include Baron Ricks, the commander of the Nohza forces, whom he confronts directly.
Throughout his journey, JJ demonstrates notable personal development. Initially the least skilled of the three in areas like shooting and fighting, he undergoes significant growth through numerous battles, eventually reaching a level of competence comparable to his elite teammates. His path is also marked by profound events, including dying in battle at one point and being resurrected by the Zillion weapon system. Following the resolution of the war with the Nohza, JJ attempts to leave his combat life behind and joins a rock band called the White Knights, but this respite is short-lived; when Apple is kidnapped by the Odama Clan, he immediately returns to action to lead her rescue, proving that his core identity remains that of a loyal and impulsive hero.
JJ wields the Zillion Weapon System, a powerful gun that is one of the few effective tools against the Nohza, which relies on a scarce substance called Zillium or zillionium for ammunition. He is also frequently seen riding his signature motorcycle, which is known as the Tricharger. While his raw statistics might initially be unimpressive, his tenacity and ability to break through obstacles with overwhelming action define his combat style, and with sufficient experience, he becomes an overwhelmingly powerful force on the battlefield.
