TV-Series
Description
Corina Bucksworth is the English dub name for the character originally known as Mint Aizawa from the anime Tokyo Mew Mew, specifically featured in the adaptation titled Mew Mew Power. She is a fourteen-year-old student and the second Mew Mew to be discovered and join the team.

Corina comes from an immensely wealthy family and lives in a large mansion. However, her parents are almost never home, leaving her in the care of her grandmother and the household staff. She has an older brother named Sergio, who is often busy with his studies and rarely has time to spend with her. Corina shares her home with her small pet dog, a Pomeranian named Mickey. Her background as a privileged heiress has significantly shaped her personality and initially leads her to act spoiled, snobbish, and self-centered. She often appears haughty and dismissive, frequently slacking off at work to drink tea and giving the impression that she believes herself to be above others.

Despite this cold exterior, Corina is not without depth. She cares deeply for those close to her, especially her dog Mickey, and demonstrates a capacity for empathy as the story progresses. One of her most defining traits is her intense admiration for the model and fellow Mew Mew, Renee Roberts. She idolizes Renee and is overjoyed when Renee eventually agrees to join the team, viewing her as a role model or a big sister. Beneath her confident and sometimes condescending demeanor, Corina is also afraid of being hurt, which can make her hesitant to fully commit to others.

Corina is a highly skilled ballet dancer, having been a prima ballerina since the age of eight. This talent is integrated into her abilities as a Mew Mew; her transformation sequence and movements in battle are often based on ballet poses. Her DNA has been merged with that of an ultramarine lorikeet, a rare bird. As a result, when she transforms into Mew Mint, she sprouts blue feathered wings and a tail, granting her the power of flight. She also gains the ability to communicate with birds. Her main weapon is the Heart Arrow, and her signature attack is Ribbon Mint Echo. Her Mew Mark, a symbol resembling two bird wings, is located on her back between her shoulder blades.

Corina is introduced into the story when the lead heroine, Zoey Hanson, suspects she is a potential team member. After Mickey is transformed into a monster, Corina's true nature as a Mew Mew is revealed, and she is reluctantly forced to transform and save her pet. Her primary role is as a member of the Mew Mews, fighting to protect the Earth from alien forces. Her relationship with Zoey is initially antagonistic, as Corina finds Zoey awkward and strange, while Zoey views Corina as a snob. Over time, however, they become friends and allies. Her most significant relationship is with Renee Roberts, whom she greatly respects and seeks to emulate.

Throughout the series, Corina undergoes noticeable development. She begins as a lonely rich girl whose wealth and status alienate her from others. Her experiences fighting alongside the Mew Mews and protecting innocent people gradually teach her the true value of friendship. She learns to open up, moves past her superficial selfishness, and becomes a more caring person who is less concerned with her status and more willing to work as part of a team.
