Milgauss is an antagonist in Dragonar Academy who outwardly appears as a young man with silver-gray hair of medium length, a half mask covering part of his face, and a cape. This physical appearance is actually that of Julius Lautreamont, the exiled first crown prince of the Lautreamont royal family. However, Julius is not in control of his own body. His dragon, Mordred, discovered Julius's plan to expose and dispose of him, and in response Mordred possessed Julius entirely, using his form as a disguise while carrying out his own schemes. As Mordred in Julius's body, Milgauss works with the Zepharos Empire, often alongside the agent Anya, and takes part in hostile actions against the protagonists. His motivations are driven by the dragon's desire to further its own agenda and oppose the main characters, particularly Ash Blake and his dragon Eco. Milgauss appears early in the story, participating in an ambush against Ash during a dragon race and later in other confrontations that escalate the conflict. His role is that of a recurring enemy: a possessed prince whose true nature as a dragon grants him supernatural abilities inherent to a powerful dragon, making him a significant threat. Key relationships include his connection to Anya of the Zepharos Empire as an ally, and his opposition to Ash, Eco, and the other student council members of Ansarivan Dragonar Academy. The character does not undergo significant development, as his identity as Mordred remains consistent throughout the story, always acting as a tool of the empire and a direct obstacle to the main cast.
