Description
Rinon Otometachibana is a second-year student at Tougetsu High School and one of the five Workshop witches assigned to protect the city. Before her magical role is made clear, she is introduced as an infamous school delinquent known as "Bear Killer Rinon," a nickname earned from the claim that she once strangled a tiger with her bare hands. She leads a gang of female delinquents who dress in furry hamster costumes, and her first major action in the story is to damage school property in order to pressure Honoka Takamiya into stepping down as student council president. She challenges him to a fight because she has been tricked by the former student council president into believing that Honoka mistreated her. The confrontation ends when Ayaka Kagari, aided by the Ivory Quintet, intervenes and defeats her.
Personality-wise, Rinon presents a tough, belligerent, and unruly exterior. She is generally portrayed as aggressive, confrontational, and unconcerned with the welfare of the school, and she can abandon even a polite manner to lash out without restraint once her facade is dropped.
