Description
Asuhi Imizu is a first-year student at Mikagura Academy who transferred from the affiliated middle school, later becoming the representative of the Astronomy Club. His birthday is November 17, his blood type is A, and his height is 160 centimeters. He has blue or green hair with a distinct white streak, and his eyes are large and effeminate with pupils shaped like stars.

Asuhi is characterized as a shy, reserved, and gentle person who is prone to getting flustered and trembling. He is extremely polite, speaking in formal language and apologizing frequently even when he has done nothing wrong. His feminine appearance and mannerisms are so pronounced that he won a poll conducted by the Newspaper Club for Male Student That You Would Want As a Little Sister, though this same quality led to him being bullied during his childhood and contributed to his lack of self-confidence. The subject of stars is the one thing that brings him out of his reserved shell; he becomes highly enthusiastic when discussing astronomy, loves stargazing more than he loves himself, and becomes visibly upset when anyone mocks or makes fun of the stars. He is described as somewhat dreamy and romantic in nature.

Despite his frail and weak appearance, Asuhi is surprisingly powerful in combat with an aggressive fighting style and a one-hit-kill move. He was ranked first in pre-tournament predictions for the Rookie Battle Tournament and was considered a favorite to win until his defeat by another student, yet he never displays arrogance about his abilities. His spirit catalyst is a telescope, and his special attack is called Shooting Star. The telescope allows him to launch light beams of varying sizes at opponents; while anyone can activate the power by pressing a button, the light beams are much more powerful when Asuhi is the one wielding the catalyst. His crystals, which represent his spiritual energy, are blue and shaped like stars. His main weakness in battle is that the telescope is cumbersome and makes it difficult for him to move around.

Asuhi becomes the first friend of the protagonist after she saves him from a misunderstanding involving another student. He has a notable relationship with an older student who seems to look down on him and always treats him with condescension. During a practice match, this senior challenges Asuhi, who initially refuses but accepts after seeing his new friend excited about witnessing a fight; he loses within seconds due to the difference in skill levels between a first-year and a second-year student. His dream is to see a aurora borealis one day.
