Minami Shimazu is the grandmother of Sakuya and Suseri and the former head of the Shimazu family, later serving as its leader. She maintains the appearance of a young girl by using an artificial body created by Nadeshiko, which she employs for both combat and daily interaction. No one knows her true original form. Nami is very fond of Sakuya and has a playful side, as she loves playing video games. Her motivations center on guiding the Shimazu family and supporting her granddaughters, though she does not directly involve herself in the immediate conflicts. She wields the ability to pilot her puppet body, which allows her to fight and move as if she were still young. Her relationship with Sakuya is affectionate, and she acts as a matriarchal figure overseeing the family’s affairs.
