Description
Kotarou Fuuma is a prominent figure in Samurai Warriors, serving as a mysterious and unpredictable shinobi whose presence is felt across the conflicts of the Sengoku period. His character is inspired by the historical leader of the Fuuma clan, but he is portrayed with heavily supernatural and chaotic traits that set him apart from the more grounded warriors of the era. He is primarily recognized as an agent of the Hojo clan, offering his services specifically to Ujiyasu Hojo, yet his true allegiance is not to any single lord but to the state of war itself. His encounter with Takeda Shingen exemplifies his nature, where he completes a mission to capture Tokugawa Ieyasu only to assassinate Shingen immediately afterward to prolong the conflict. Over the course of the series, his role has developed from a wandering troublemaker into a more formally defined cryptanalyst and provocateur for the Hojo clan, though he still fundamentally operates as a singular agent of discord. In terms of abilities, Kotarou wields supernatural powers that make him one of the most dangerous figures on any battlefield.
