David M. Schulze is a German actor and voice artist, born on August 12, 1985, in Stuttgart, Germany. He spent part of his youth in Paderborn and San Francisco before settling in Cologne, which he adopted as his chosen home. Schulze pursued formal training at the Schauspielschule der Keller in Cologne, graduating in February 2013 as a state-recognized actor. His professional career spans over a decade, during which he has been active in voice-over work for film and television, audiobooks, commercials, and as a stage and screen actor.

As a voice actor, Schulze is primarily known for his work dubbing anime into German. In this field, he has taken on a variety of significant roles. He is the German voice of Rikido Sato in the long-running and popular series My Hero Academia, a role he has voiced since 2016. His other notable anime roles include Bernhard 'Bär' Grabowski in Yo-Kai Watch, Uzu Sanageyama in Kill la Kill, Kasper Hekmatyar in Jormungand, Hiroto Maehara in Assassination Classroom, and Daigo Aoki in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. He also provided the voice for Gueira in the animated film Promare. His work often involves dubbing specific Japanese voice actors, with frequent credits for voicing characters originally performed by Toru Nara, Nobuyuki Hiyama, Yuuichi Nakamura, and Noriaki Sugiyama, among others.
