Description
Jin Isurugi is a character from the anime and light novel series World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman. He is a Japanese Savior and serves as the leader of an elite group known as The Striker Unit. He is also the older brother of Gen Isurugi, another student at the academy.

In terms of personality, Jin is depicted as a serious and impartial individual. He demonstrates a strong sense of fairness and discipline, which often puts him in the position of needing to correct the behavior of those under his command. In particular, he is frequently shown punishing his second-in-command, Tokiko Kanzaki, for her inappropriate or perverted antics, often by squeezing her head. Despite needing to discipline her, he holds her in high regard as a capable ally.

Jin first takes an interest in the protagonist, Moroha Haimura, after learning that Moroha defeated his younger brother, Gen, in a duel. Unlike Gen, who harbored jealousy towards Moroha, Jin does not hold a grudge over his brother's loss; instead, he is greatly impressed by Moroha's skill and feels that his brother deserved to be humbled. This respect for Moroha's abilities leads Jin to personally recommend him for a position in The Striker Unit. Their relationship remains positive throughout the story, with Jin's respect for Moroha growing further when Moroha defies orders to successfully protect innocent people from a powerful enemy known as a Metaphysical. As the leader of The Striker Unit, Jin plays a key role as a senior figure and mentor, recognizing and recruiting talented individuals like Moroha.

Jin's relationship with Tokiko Kanzaki is a central dynamic of his role within The Striker Unit. As her superior, he balances respect for her abilities with the need to continually curb her wilder impulses. Despite her annoyance at being interrupted, Kanzaki holds great respect for Jin, demonstrated when she refuses to abandon him during a dangerous mission even after he orders her to escape.
