Description
Fantasia Yusano is a character from the anime When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace. She is a middle school student who typically appears dressed in a nurse's outfit with a pink motif. Her attire is often accompanied by a sports jacket worn over it, a small hat featuring a bunny face, and a crucifix necklace. She has blonde hair, sky blue eyes, and rosy cheeks.

Little is known about her past before the events of the story. She was a participant in the Fourth Fairy War and managed to reach the final round, where she was defeated by Hajime Kiryuu. Following this defeat, she was revived, but her memories and powers from that war were erased. Later, she was invited by a fairy named Shedorim to join the Fifth Fairy War, which she accepted. As part of her participation, she joined a group called Fallen Black as the fifth member, taking the alias "Sex Eclipse," a name given to her by the group's leader, Hajime.

Her outward personality is generally air-headed and cheerful. She often shows interest in trivial matters, such as chocolate or the cuteness of outfits. While she appears devoted to her group, Fallen Black, she can also be somewhat irresponsible regarding serious workloads and may express a desire to simply go home. However, this is only one facet of her character. Fantasia is actually the primary and most gentle of several distinct personalities residing within a single individual. This collection of personalities is known under the overarching identity of Genre Yusano. The Fantasia personality is polite, gentle, and very proficient in hand-to-hand combat, being considered on par with the skilled fighter Shugo Toki.

Other notable personalities include Grotesca, who is vulgar, provocative, and defiant; Mysteria, who is calm and intellectual; a male personality named Adventure; and the mocking Commedia. A personality named Genre is the main, expressionless core identity who speaks in an empty tone. The Fantasia personality is the one most frequently in control of the body during everyday interactions.

The character's central motivation and role in the story are driven by this fractured psyche. The various personalities have their own goals, but the original personality, Genre, holds a grudge against Hajime Kiryuu for her defeat and death in the previous Fairy War. A significant part of her development involves gradually regaining fragments of memories from that past war, which the fairies had tried to erase. Because of her multiple personalities, the erasure was incomplete, leaving her with lingering memories and a desire for revenge against Hajime to stop him from participating in future wars. At one point, her plan involved creating a new personality, Destinia, who has the unique ability to create names for superpowers, a factor that Genre believed was key to her previous loss.

Notably, her abilities are not solely connected to her own body's combat skills. Her primary superpower, called Sex Eclipse, allows her to implant her multiple personalities into the bodies of other people, thereby controlling them. In addition, her various personalities each possess their own unique abilities and behaviors, making her a highly unpredictable and versatile opponent. For instance, in a battle against Umeko Tanaka, the main personality Genre demonstrated a power she had renamed Faceless in a direct confrontation.
