Katelyn Barr is an American voice actress and ADR scriptwriter born on March 17, 1992, in North Carolina. Based in Dallas, Texas, she has built a career in the anime industry since approximately 2013, working extensively with major production studios such as Crunchyroll (formerly Funimation), Sentai Filmworks, and OkraTron 5000.

Her body of voice work is extensive and spans a wide variety of anime series, demonstrating considerable range. She is known for voicing characters across many genres, from intense action series to light-hearted comedies. Some of her most prominent and recognizable roles include Himeno in Chainsaw Man, Mina Ashiro in Kaiju No. 8, and Ryuko Tatsuma, also known as the Pro Hero Ryukyu, in My Hero Academia and its associated film, World Heroes' Mission. She also voices the character Yami, or Golden Darkness, in the To Love Ru franchise.

Barr has been the voice for numerous characters in long-running and popular series. She plays Natsumi in Date A Live III and Date A Live IV, Nikki Hanada in the Dr. Stone franchise including Stone Wars, Ryusui, and New World, and Ren Soma in Fruits Basket: The Final. Her other notable anime credits include Liu Xuelan in Darwin's Game, Shinnosuke Tenmanya in MARS RED, Glenys in Skeleton Knight in Another World, Daleth in The Duke of Death and His Maid, Ms. Tobaru in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, and Agent in Girls' Frontline. Her film work includes voicing Cow Lady in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

Beyond anime, Barr has lent her voice to characters in video games. Her game credits include Twisted Metal The Morrigan in SMITE, multiple characters in Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Niyon in Shadowverse, Kizana Sunobu in Yandere Simulator, and Claudia in Crush Crush.

In addition to her performance work, Barr has made significant contributions to the industry as an ADR scriptwriter. She has written English dub scripts for hundreds of episodes of anime, adapting series such as Black Clover, One Piece, Haikyu!!, Akame ga Kill!, Zombie Land SAGA, and Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. She often works from her home studio in Dallas, and outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing drums and collecting Halloween decorations.
